President George W. Bush is not aware of one vital fact when he insists that we must win the Iraq war or the consequences will be disastrous for the whole world. More troops will never win the war and diplomacy won’t do any better. Here is the reason why: this war is not so much a religious war as it is a war of hatred. The Arabs hate the Americans for supporting Israel with money and weapons. Hatred is the one thing that more troops or diplomacy can never conquer.
